1988<\/h2>
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico in Turin, Sandro Magagna began to work as an employee in a company in Asti and he later became a Manager in the Handling sector at Pirelli. As a result of his experience in the world of Material Handling and Automation, he decided to start something on his own.<\/span><\/p>\n

His aim was to create an engineering company that could be a point of reference that other companies could trust to realize their projects and ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n

On October 14, 1988, he founded E.C.S., a great entrepreneurial adventure that continues up to now.<\/span><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

1990-1993<\/h2>

  • ECS patents the RGV, Sunlight Self-Propelled Aerial Trolley, which will become one of our best-selling products. It will be at first employed is in a very large textile plant in the USA.<\/li>\n
  • In these years we have also developed an innovative project for the Aluminum Industry with RGV, Rail Guided Vehicles, with grippers and lifting for the transport of the dies from the warehouse to the ovens, to the presses and soda washing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    1994<\/h2>
    We build the first automated warehouse for Banca Rolo in Bologna, an impressive hub with a capacity of 30,000 load units. ECS exports Rail Guided Vehicles to South Africa for the construction of plants with Haden, a leading company in painting plants.<\/span><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

    \nTurning point in the Automotive sector. FORD in Argentina entrusts us to design and realize all air transport for an entire Body Shop, consisting of 250 self-propelled trolleys and 3 automated warehouses.<\/span>
